Designed for professionals, the STIHL FS 261 gas brushcutter is ideal for demanding mowing and large-area work in landscape maintenance, horticulture and agriculture. Thanks to the large mowing circle of 520 mm, you can mow large areas efficiently and carry out maintenance work in young tree stocks.

The ergonomic bike handle (mowing handle) supports a natural scything movement. This means that you can even mow larger areas very efficiently and effortlessly. The innovative ADVANCE Grip handle element also offers you a highly ergonomic and intuitive working experience.

Features may include:

• FOR FEWER STARTING STROKES. The manual fuel pump reduces the number of strokes required to start the power tool, making the start-up process quicker and easier This is particularly helpful after longer breaks in operation. To use it, actuate the pump several times before starting. This will ensure that there is enough petrol in the carburettor when starting.

• COMFORTABLE OPERATION. Thanks to the single-handed multi-function handle, you can control your power tool easily and reliably with one hand. Because all relevant control elements are integrated in the handle, it can be operated by both right-handed and left-handed users.

• EFFORTLESS MOWING OF LARGE AREAS. The ergonomic bike handle helps you mow large areas quickly and effortlessly, as this handle supports a natural brushcutter movement. The bike handle is easy to adjust and secure.

• FOR MORE PLEASANT WORK. Vibrations can occur when you put your power tools through their paces, and these are particularly noticeable in the grip area. The buffer and spring elements of the STIHL anti-vibration system reduce the transmission of engine vibrations to the handle area and therefore to your body. The result is that your power tool is more comfortable to hold and your work is much less tiring.

• SET THE BIKE HANDLE POSITION. You can individually adjust the ergonomic bike handle (mowing handle) using the central clamping device. Thanks to the tool-free handle adjustment, you do not need any tools for this. The bike handle can be rotated 90 degrees for transport and space-saving storage.
